These Terms apply to all users including teachers, school administrators, and students. If you are using Young Maestro on behalf of a school or organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to do so.

2. Services Provided

Young Maestro provides a cloud-based platform for music education, including:

  • Interactive lessons and multimedia resources

  • Assessment and tracking tools

  • Curriculum-aligned teaching materials

  • Communication and content sharing features

We reserve the right to update, modify, or discontinue any aspect of the Services at any time.

3. User Accounts and Access

To use certain features, you must register an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login details and for all activity under your account.

  • Teachers must not share login credentials.

  • Schools are responsible for authorising student access under their supervision.

  • Students must only access content assigned to them and follow teacher or school guidelines.

4. Appropriate Use

You agree to use the Services for lawful, educational purposes only. You must not:

  • Share content unlawfully or without permission

  • Post offensive, harmful, or discriminatory material

  • Circumvent platform security features

  • Use Young Maestro for commercial or non-educational purposes without written consent

Breaches of this section may result in account suspension or termination.

5. Intellectual Property

All content on the Young Maestro platform—including videos, lessons, animations, music, scores, worksheets, designs, and logos—is the property of Young Maestro Pty Ltd or its content partners, unless otherwise stated.

You may use materials for classroom instruction within your school, but may not reproduce, distribute, or adapt content for external or commercial use without prior written permission.

6. Data Protection and Privacy

Young Maestro complies with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles. We collect and use personal information only for educational purposes and take reasonable steps to protect user data.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation of the platform.

  • Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount paid by the school or user in the previous 12 months, if applicable.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access if:

  • A user breaches these Terms

  • A subscription expires or is not renewed

  • Use of the service poses a risk to platform integrity or other users

Upon termination, access to platform content will be disabled, and stored data may be deleted in accordance with our data retention policy.

9. School Responsibilities

Schools using Young Maestro agree to:

  • Ensure student data is entered accurately and used appropriately

  • Supervise student access in accordance with relevant child safety policies

  • Obtain parental consent where required for student participation

10. Governing Law
